Some Shots From a (Not So Recent) Trip to Woodbine Food Hall

In my ever-neglectful way, and true to form, it’s been a minute since I visited Woodbine Food Hall with some friends. I wanted to call out a few delicious items we encountered there.

The stromboli from Marcato Kitchen was a knockout. Beautiful bread with the perfect amount of crisp, and I’m a sucker for any and all baked goods topped with toasted sesame seeds. This one’s a winner.

Next up: Dom’s Burgers. I love all things smash, and this one lines right up there with the best burger in SLC. You can get it the Dom’s traditional way, sandwiched between a split English muffin, or swap it out for a more standard bun, which is more than likely a Martin’s potato bun.

I tried their special: a Krabby Patty, straight outta Spongebob. Pretty straightforward proposition with two smashed patties, onions, American cheese, house-made pickles, and special sauce.

And last was the Oh Schnitzel sandwich from Deadpan. It ain’t much to look at, but it made up for it in the taste department featuring a pork cutlet, ranch sauerkraut, dill, parsley, Duke’s mayo in between two slices of locally-made white bread.
